🏰 Alcazar of Segovia – This 12th century castle was home to Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand, the benefactors of Christopher Columbus. Almost 2 dozen Spanish monarchs called this castle home. A lunar crater is named after one of its monarchs. King Alfonso’s astronomical discoveries were made at the castle itself.
